The composition of Strings of Oud expresses the soul of oud not by using oud itself, but by evoking its aura through texture, timbre and warmth. The opening brings together Cardamom, Black Pepper from Madagascar and Wormwood- a trio that creates a refined, aromatic shimmer reminiscent of a string pulling itself awake.
As the heart unfolds, the fragrance gains structure through the rosy-mineral edge of Geranium from Madagascar, the vertical lift of Incense and the clean, calm architecture of Cypress.
The base then settles into a warm, enveloping glow of a Tobacco Leaf, the Absolute of Vanilla Bourbon Madagascar and, the elegant Cedarwood's Timber. What emerges is not oud, but the memory of oud- its shadow, its warmth, its quiet command-achieved through harmony rather than heaviness
